Watching the sun set beyond the horizon
As gorgeous this evening was, I was surprised that there were not as many bodies out on the rocky beaches of Semiahmoo as I thought there would have been.
These boys and their mamma played with crabs in the slimy green seaweed and could also watch the clams squirting up out of ground all over! They even got wet and soapy with the bubble machine I brought along. Finishing off the sunset with rock candy lollipops and sticky fingers. :) I can't wait to go back again for some more adventures.

Sunset at Clayton Beach
This chilly mid December family session started on a hike down to Clayton Beach. Climbing all over the rocks and finding sea creatures. As we climbed up high on the rocks to watch the sun set, even though our fingers and toes were cold, our hearts were warming with the winter sunset.
